While I’m not so moved by the impact this will have on business owners, this article does make alot of sense about better ideas to improve the situation (e.g. why do cops patrol in groups of 6 or more when they could police larger areas in pairs?) as well that chaos that will occur when EVERYONE is let out onto the streets at 3am. What bar will stay open if they can’t serve alcohol or get cover charges from new entrants (e.g. 1:30am lock out)?
