Cockle Bay Tower

Cockle Bay Tower

My submission opposed the third version of a proposed tower at Cockle Bay Wharf arguing that no tweaking can resolve the fundamental problem of building a high rise on the public waterfront. Read submission HERE.

Decreasing the height from 195 to 183 metres will not adequately protect the harbour and foreshore from overshadowing and wind impacts, or protect views from public vantage points like the heritage Pyrmont Bridge. I am very concerned about devastating impacts on views and brightness in some homes on Sussex Street.

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
