The latest Darling Harbour site DA for the southern Haymarket precinct would result in over-development with built form wrapping the entire site and no setbacks for the three residential buildings including the 41-storey tower. My submission argued that the scale should be reduced by providing less parking spaces given the site is close to jobs, services and public transport – the proposal is for 445 spaces for 580 apartments.
