Electronic cigarettes are growing in use and while little is known about how they affect nicotine addiction or the effects of vapour chemical exposure, they remain largely unregulated. E-cigarettes are marketed at young people through quirky vapour flavours and glamorous vapour devices, and in Parliament I supported a government bill aimed at preventing their sale to and use by children. A lot more work needs to be done to establish the long term impacts and appropriate regulations. My speech is HERE & my questions last year are HERE.
