1080 and Aerial Culling
I’m sponsoring an online petition to the Parliament calling for a ban on 1080 poison and aerial culling of feral animals.
Sodium fluoroacetate or 1080 is a non-selective poison used to kill animals, so can kill a wide range of species including native dingos, domestic dogs and birds. Aerial culling means shooting feral animals from a helicopter overhead, which often results in a high injury rate with animals escaping and suffering a long and painful death.
