The NSW auditor-general will investigate the State Government’s $13 million cost blowout on the Albert “Tibby” Cotter bridge project.

The Wentworth Courier revealed on February 3 the cost of the controversial walkway over Anzac Parade to the SCG and Allianz Stadium had run out from $25 million to $38 million.

Auditor-General Grant Hehir wrote to independent Sydney MP Alex Greenwich this week, agreeing to look into the project.
