Inner city parents have few childcare choices with centres at capacity and fees making it too expensive for some to return to work. In Parliament I argued for greater investment in childcare and for all levels of government to work to establish a more flexible, affordable and accessible childcare system including through support for emerging creative options like family day care and playrooms in co-working spaces.
