I’m very concerned that the Commonwealth Religious Discrimination Bill, which should protect religious people from discrimination will actually entrench discrimination against women, people with disability, LGBTIQ+ and other vulnerable people. The bill threatens equal access to healthcare, jobs, schools and any services provided by religious bodies; it undermines ‘a fair go’ for everyone.
