Barangaroo PAC, 389 Buses, Visit Parliament, Community Grants and Newsletter No 10

Barangaroo PAC

Barangaroo planning has a history of modifications that promote private benefit and last week I joined the City of Sydney and architects to implore the Planning Assessment Commission to refuse the latest to locate a casino with private luxury hotel and apartments on Barangaroo South’s only waterfront public park. I argued that the public experience will make Barangaroo successful, not private short term profit. My speech is HERE.

389 Buses

I’ve received numerous complaints from residents from Pyrmont to Paddington about unreliable bus services on the 389 route, which now travels from Bondi through the CBD to Pyrmont. Despite letters and questions to the minister, it does not appear that the service has improved. See my latest question HERE. Please download and sign my petition to help get action to improve the 389 bus service HERE.
