In response to the community outrage and our campaign on Infrastructure NSW plans for the Blackwattle Bay site have been scaled back, with tower heights reduced, fewer homes and a bit wider foreshore promenade. However, these changes do not go far enough, with 35-storey residential towers blocking the iconic harbour from the public and overshadowing public space. More work is needed to deliver a world-class precinct.
