Commercial Poster Review

Commercial Poster Review

I’ve been raising constituents’ concerns about illegal commercial posters since I was first elected, with successive ministers referring to a review of the Graffiti Control Act, but with no details. The law provides fines for the person putting up commercial posters, but not the promotor or body paying them. There is now a discussion paper, which asks for feedback on a proposed offence of ‘authorising’ illegal posters with councils required to set aside designated areas where posters are allowed.
