Compulsory Business Voting, or the ‘Clover Bill’: Backchat speaks to Robert Borsak and Alex Greenwich

Did you know businesses can vote in council elections? In the City of Sydney there are moves byt Robert Borsak of the Shooters and Fishers to make it compulsory, which raises all sorts of issues about the numbers of businesses registered and the resulting impact on the mix of corporate and residential votes, with some saying it could spell the end of Clover Moore’s time as Mayor. Many people, including those in Robert Brosak’s parliamentary office, are calling it the Clover Bill.
