Container Deposits make sense on both economic and environmental grounds, and I’ve been working with the Boomerang Alliance community campaign for a NSW scheme. See my recent article in New Matilda HERE

Media reports suggest that the NSW Government has understood the massive community support (85 per cent!) for this reform and will join other states and introduce a CDL scheme, helping to build a national program.
