The NSW Government has announced their package of measures for renters and landlords. Fair Trading can help resolve disputes. See: HERE. I expect Parliament will resume to pass legislation for this package, but have not seen the legislation and have sought a briefing from the Treasurer. I will call for changes to protect tenants who are not entitled to JobSeeker or JobKeeper and their landlords if my concerns that they are disproportionately impacted are not addressed.

The latest support packages include funding to cover preschool fees for up to six months and for council childcare centres that are not eligible for JobKeeper payment: HERE. The government will also defer land tax or allow late payments: HERE.
