The government is increasing COVID-19 testing in ‘hotspots’ including the Woollahra council area. Anyone with fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath should arrange a test by calling their GP or Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 or by visiting a COVID-19 clinic. St Vincent’s Hospital runs COVID clinics at Bondi Beach Pavilion and the East Sydney Community and Arts Centre 34 Burton Street, 9am-4pm every day. You can also get tested at the Sydney Eye Hospital 10am-6pm weekdays and RPA Hospital 8am-10pm, every day. Call Healthdirect to check if you should be tested if you have symptoms but live outside the hotspots.

Last week I spoke with Redfern Legal Centre to discuss tenancy concerns and am following up with ministers to strengthen protections and help those falling through the cracks. The tragic Ruby Princess incident will be the focus of a powerful Special Commission of Inquiry as well as the NSW Police/Coroner investigation. I hope that these get to the bottom of what went wrong to make sure it does not happen again.
