Following the tragic death of another cyclist, I joined bike riders in the city this morning to protest the government’s decision to remove the College Street separated cycleway and not complete the Castlereagh Street cycleway. This undermines the government’s own CBD Access Strategy designed to reduce congestion and provide safe routes for pedestrians, cyclist, private vehicles, taxis, couriers, delivery vehicles, buses and the new light rail in the city.
