Dam VS Wilderness
Raising the Warragamba Dam wall will have environmentally disastrous consequences for the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, flooding the national park and wilderness areas, drowning threatened plants and animal species.
The $3.5 billion cost could be better redirected on local flood mitigation measures. I have repeatedly opposed this project in parliament and encourage you to join the campaign > HERE.
