Dam VS Wilderness

Dam VS Wilderness

Raising the Warragamba Dam wall will have environmentally disastrous consequences for the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, flooding the national park and wilderness areas, drowning threatened plants and animal species.

The $3.5 billion cost could be better redirected on local flood mitigation measures. I have repeatedly opposed this project in parliament and encourage you to join the campaign > HERE.

Meanwhile conservation of the Gardens of Stone is a massive win for regions and my statement in Parliament congratulated all those involved with the Colong Foundation for Wilderness which has been campaigning for this wilderness protection for decades. > HERE.

I encourage you to get involved and help get other wilderness areas protected > HERE.

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
