It’s so important that so many people who are speaking out against Aboriginal deaths in custody. Despite repeated reports and recommendations, this tragic situation continues, however the massive community campaign building on Black Lives Matter brings hope for real action to redress Indigenous disadvantage and discrimination and prevent further deaths. I intend to follow up again for systemic reform in Parliament this week.
