Woollahra Council has extended the date for public comment on its Draft Edgecliff Commercial Centre Planning and Urban Design Strategy to 17 September.

The strategy will set future rules for building height and use as well as transport links and the public domain. I’m concerned about overshadowing impacts on Trumper Park and the residential precinct to the south of the Edgecliff Centre. New development will only have five per cent of new residential floor space affordable when much more low cost housing is needed > HERE.
