The Animal Justice Party’s Mark Pearson has a bill to require pain relief for painful and invasive agricultural procedures like mulesing, tail docking, dehorning and castration. The bill also supports a phase-out of sheep mulesing as introduced in Victoria and there will be an upper house inquiry into the bill.
