This year has been full of challenges for many and I'm grateful for my electorate office staff for helping thousands of Sydneysiders with complex issues throughout the year.

We have achieved a great deal this year including new investment in social and affordable housing, major LGBTQIA+ law reform including banning conversion practices and the passage of my Equality Bill, and ending no grounds evictions and other rental protections. Just recently we secured a new ferry service for Pyrmont, and the government will implement a drug checking trial at music festivals for the next 12 months.

This is my last Update for the year. I wish you and your family and friends all the best for the festive season and for 2025.

Along with Parliament, the Sydney Electorate office will close from Monday 23 December and re-open Monday 6 January.
