Energy and Water Ombudsman

In the April to June 2024 quarter, the Energy and Water Ombudsman (EWON) received 6,989 complaints, most of them about electricity (5,665), with 1,039 complaints about gas and 250 regarding water. Billing was the biggest issue with 5,110 complaints, followed by 465 credit complaints and 355 about digital meter exchange. If you are having issues with an energy or water provider, have spoken to them but they've been unable to resolve the problem or you are not satisfied with their response, you can escalate your issue to EWON here > HERE.
