Family Violence
The recent tragic murders in Queensland and subsequent victim-blaming show much more work is needed to address domestic and family violence. I’ve been working with community organisations and advocates for increased resources to crisis support and recovery, improved policing and greater prevention efforts. There have been significant improvements in policing responses, but we need cultural change to really tackle this scourge.
