After meeting with local public school teachers and delegates of the Eastern Suburbs and Inner City Teachers Associations about the Gallop Inquiry: ‘Valuing the teaching profession’ report, I’ve written to the minister supporting the recommendations for reform to salaries, preparation time, staffing, career development, counselling services and the curriculum.
