In response to my questions in Parliament, the Minister for Transport and Roads says that future plans for the disused Glebe Island Bridge could include walking and cycling links and new public transport, but decisions will be made as part of Bays West (Bay Precinct) long term planning. In the meantime, RMS is inspecting more frequently and has stabilised damaged fenders as a safety precaution:  HERE
