Planned heavy industrial port and construction activities on Glebe Island with a gravel/sand facility, concrete plant and base for the proposed tunnel under the harbour linking Westconnex to a Northern Beaches motorway will have serious impacts on adjacent residential communities. In Parliament I supported Pyrmont residents’ “Don’t Waste Glebe Island” campaign and called on the government to honour its commitment to make Glebe Island/White Bay a tech hub. My speech: HERE
