I again asked the Minister for Planning to call in the proposed port expansion at Glebe Island for a ‘multi-user facility’ in a joint request with Jamie Parker of The Greens, whose Balmain electorate will host the facility.

It is inappropriate for the NSW Port Authority to develop and determine its own proposal without any independent assessment given the potential significant impact from 24 hour operations including ship deliveries and truck movements, and the technical detail in reports.
