Many Pyrmont residents remain concerned about noise and air pollution from the proposed Hanson concrete plant currently before the Independent Planning Commission for approval. 

I’ve called on the commission to impose conditions including a curfew on ship movements and loading and unloading at night to prevent noise and air pollution impacts on the adjacent residential community. I opposed 24 hour operations in my 2018 submission and advocated for a stronger Port Noise Policy to protect adjacent residents. My letter: > HERE.
