Healthy Homes
I’ve been calling for retrofitting older social housing properties to improve their energy and water efficiency, save tenants money and reduce waste and emissions > HERE. We finally have 7 Star standards for new residential buildings that will make them warmer in winter and cooler in summer > HERE.
But many existing properties have poor insulation, inefficient appliances and heating, and cost a lot to heat and cool. The Healthy Homes for Renters is campaigning to get better standards in rental properties, like insulation, door and window seals, window coverings and efficient heating/cooling > HERE.
