Nearly 1,000 people have signed the online petition calling for urgent review of the planned Inner Sydney High School catchment boundaries to include students whose families live close by. The school is in Redfern but Redfern students only metres away will be excluded. Establishment of classes will also be staged with the first year of operation providing only year 7. The CLOSE community is asking local parents to comment on how these plans will affect them and their children so they can advocate to government.
