In response to my requests, the Minister for the Ageing will require privatised home care support services to comply with anti-discrimination rules. Public services will be transferred to the non-government sector including religious organisations that are exempt from anti-discrimination laws, and staff and consumers must be protected.  See the media report HERE. I obtained a similar commitment to protect people with a disability in the transfer of disability services.
