Following legislative reform last year, people convicted for consensual homosexual acts before the 1984 decriminalisation in NSW can apply to have these offences removed from their criminal records. This is one more step to righting past wrongs, and I’ll continue to push for a formal apology from the Parliament for these unjust laws. Information on the process is HERE.
