Development applications for City of Sydney Oxford Street properties on long term lease are open for community comment until 11 December. The proposals include retail, food and drink, and cultural and creative uses on the lower ground and ground levels, with commercial offices and hotel above. Other exciting news for the future of Oxford Street is a proposed safe separated cycleway to reduce accidents, free up footpaths for pedestrians and calm traffic to help activate the street. The City of Sydney is seeking comment on separated cycleways in Oxford, Liverpool and College streets by 16 December. The proposal will fill a big hole in the regional cycleway network connecting to the CBD:   HERE.
