In response to my question in Parliament for new public and community housing for vulnerable people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Treasurer promised social and affordable housing investment in the upcoming state budget. Last week I proudly tabled a petition with over 10,000 signatures, handed to me from the NSW St Vincent de Paul President and CEO Jack de Groot calling for more investment in social housing.
