Yungee Healing Place youth suicide prevention project in Far North Queensland is trying to raise funds to rebuild its premises which were destroyed by cyclone Ita last year. It is holding a fundraiser in Camperdown on 14 August. Details HERE.
 
The 2015 Patrick White Writing Competition for indigenous youth is now open. The awards have been designed to encourage NSW Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to use their reading, writing, and creative skills through a short story, poem or play. Entry form HERE.
