Changing the bus operator for the Inner West region does not address the underlying problems with traffic congestion and the government’s data justifying the decision ignores the number of bus services and usage. Analysis published by The Guardian shows that the worst region for complaints is Inner North Region 7, read HERE.

We need a comprehensive plan to improve public transport that gives priority over private vehicles and reduces traffic congestion. Steps like bringing in longer buses, removing bus stops and changing operators cannot address the underlying problems. I’ve lodged questions in Parliament about inner west bus plans HERE.
