After seven years as CEO of Homelessness NSW, Katherine McKernan leaves the organisation and homelessness services in a strong position to advocate and tackle this increasing major concern during a long period when housing costs have soared, social housing supply has stagnated or fallen, and the number of people with complex health and welfare needs who cannot afford a home has been ever-increasing.
