I was pleased with the commitment of the new Premier in response to my Question in Parliament to continue previous support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities, including funding for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, ACON, Twenty10 and the Gender Centre, and free votes on LGBTI-related legislation.
