Congratulations to Yasmina Bonnet and the Millers Point Community Resident Action Group for their successful campaign to have swimming allowed in Marrinawi Cove at Barangaroo – our first ‘city beach’.

We worked together with Lord Mayor Clover Moore to convince the government to allow swimming now that water quality has improved. In response to my requests, the minister says the government will look at measures like handrails to improve accessibility. You can give feedback about what is needed > HERE.
