The NSW Government plans massive inner city development at the Bays Precinct, the Central to Eveleigh rail corridor, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, and in Parliament I asked the Minister for Planning to provide social infrastructure like schools, childcare, transport and affordable housing. Appallingly, the minister used her first question without notice to list projects outside the city and ridicule bicycle lanes and my work on animal welfare, failing to demonstrate her engagement with important planning issues.
