In Parliament I congratulated the Mature Age Gays (MAG) on 30 years providing invaluable peer support and resources for gay and bisexual men over 40 years. MAG creates a welcoming and safe environment to promote safe sex and provide education on HIV and AIDS. MAG recognises the vital need for connection, with a range of social events, practical help, and emotional support to prevent isolation and institutionalisation. I have a long association with MAG, have attended several MAG events and seen the value the group and its camaraderie. My statement > HERE.
