Plans are on exhibition for the Sydney Metro 3.5 kilometre twin tunnels from The Bays Station under Johnstons Bay and Darling Harbour into the Sydney CBD and excavating Pyrmont and Hunter Street Metro stations.

It proposes five construction sites for the tunnel including The Bays tunnel launch and site, with two construction sites each for the Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations. Some residents and businesses will be at risk from construction vibrations and noise, especially around the Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations.
