The Metro West proposal for an underground metro line between the city and Westmead is open for public comment until 26 June. The route includes stops at Westmead, Parramatta, Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock and The Bays. Tunnels between The Bays stop and the CBD is not part of this proposal and there is no decision about a stop at Pyrmont. The line is supposed to open in 2030. Information: HERE or phone 1800 612 173.
