When I saw today’s Daily Telegraph about the sale of another 25 homes, I immediately asked the Minister for Family and Community Services for details.

This afternoon, I’ve been told by her office that no decision has been made, and the story was based on incorrect information. 
 
The Minister’s office has told me that the government will inform and consult the community on the future of social housing in Millers Point. The media reports are disturbing and will have caused distress to residents.
 
I will continue to work with the local community, who want the government to retain and properly maintain low cost housing in the inner city.
