Last week I took a delegation of Millers Point residents, Lord Mayor Clover Moore and Deputy Lord Mayor Robyn Kemmis to meet the Minister for Community Services so he could hear firsthand the devastating impacts of the government’s sales and relocation program. The minister agreed to join me on a walk-around in the area so that I can show him the purpose built, modest and low maintenance buildings that could house remaining tenants who are elderly, frail or have a disability.
