In Parliament, I put on record the Paddington Glenmore Road Public School community’s thanks and respect for Harmainy Abdul Karim - the Keeper of the Crossing following his retirement after 17 years as crossing supervisor. Known as Mr Harmainy, he knew families and students by name and was also a volunteer football coach and regular helper at school fetes, fundraisers and working bees.
