NAIDOC and Uluru

NAIDOC and Uluru

‘Voice. Treaty. Truth. Let’s work together for a shared future’ is the theme for this year’s NAIDOC, the annual celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme reflects the three key parts of the Uluru Statement from the Heart, which I support and am pushing in the NSW Parliament. I’ve argued for a First Nations Voice to Parliament and a Makarrata Commission to supervise truth-telling and a treaty. See my final speech in the last Parliament: HERE

Join me at the Woolloomooloo NAIDOC Saturday 6 July 11am-4pm in Forbes Street Reserve: HERE. NAIDOC in the City is 11am-3pm Saturday 13 July 2019 at Hyde Park North: HERE. Other NAIDOC events HERE

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
