Congratulations to new Premier Chris Minns and Labor on winning enough seats to form government. Counting is underway and it is looking likely that the new government will need crossbench support to pass business in the house.

My Independent colleagues Greg Piper and Joe McGirr and I have offered the new ALP government an assurance of ‘confidence and supply’ to ensure stable government and the passage of budgets. I look forward to working with the new government to progress the reforms I took to the election and ensuring their legislation of fair and reasonable.
