The Premier has announced her new ministry and changes to portfolios and agencies. The transport ministry now includes roads, and energy and environment have been combined – I hope this will elevate climate change in transport and energy planning, however I am concerned that environment and energy agencies have been subsumed into the planning department.

I’m hopeful that we can achieve progress on important issues and have already met with the new Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services, who I took to the Wayside Chapel and Lou’s Place, and the Minister for Energy and Environment. The new Cabinet: HERE
