Congratulations to The Street Side Medics Woolloomooloo and Surry Hills Teams for being awarded The Volunteer Team of the Year for the Sydney City/Eastern Suburbs region. The Inner City teams assess over 600 patients on the streets each year, including vulnerable or homeless people without the resources to attend a regular GP clinic. I have joined The Street Side Medics and seen firsthand the difference their accessible medical interventions have made in people’s lives.
